"Do you like forest? so do we!"
Hello and welcome to the Aberdeen Woodland Society.
If you are interested in the woodland in any way, shape or form this is the place for you.
We are a group concerned with giving people the opportunity of experiencing and learning the mechanics of the north east of Scottish woodlands. with us you will learn about the flora and fauna of the woodlands, in addition to how to practically manage it. all of this while also learning about the other factors that governes the woodlands such as economics and politics ect, while getting the opportunity to take active part in the debate of "what should our woodlands be?".
If this sounds like something for you, then feel free to have a look in our journal about what events are going on or have a look in our about section for a deeper understanding of our aims and beliefs

A nation that destroys its soils destroys itself. Forests are the lungs of our land, purifying the air and giving fresh strength to our people.
